Tony says ...

Apparently gem-graded, CAC-stickered Capped Bust Half Dimes are really expensive. I mean, looking at the luster of this coin, I get it ... but still, these go for quite a bit at auction. Recently, there was a sale for a 1837 H10C in MS65 CAC that sold for $9500 at Stacks Bowers. This coin is just a bit under that number, and should be great value for someone. The DL Hansen pedigree tells this came from a premier collection.
