1862 is a tough year for seated dollars. In the regular issue business strikes, this coin is very rare and near impossible to come by at shows. If you find a business strike, in almost any grade that is reasonably priced - be sure to buy it! This is the proof strike for 1862 the allure of this coin is certainly the date.
