Only 625 of these were minted in 1867. Proofs from this era were retained/collected, but in the case of the 1867, not many remain. Only 14 have been graded at PR65CAM and there are only 6 at a higher grade in the CAMEO designation (a couple deep cameos have been certified as well). This coin exhibits some light hairlines typically seen with proof coinage and the eye appeal is a little cloudy - all natural signs of the age often associated with very tough proof coins from this era.
