The 1894-S is a better date Morgan Dollar. It ranks among the scarcer dates that were produced between 1892 and 1895. These dates account for all the major rarities of the morgan dollar series. For this particular coin, we have 1894-S that is conservatively graded MS61, but housed in a spectacular Generation 2.1 holder by PCGS. This is considered a vintage holder as it came after the PCGS Gen 1, which are affectionately known as "rattlers."
