The 1938-D/S is a more common date in the Buffalo nickel series. That said, this piece is special due to the high grade, but especially the eye appeal! I haven't seen many nickels with such an incredible red tone to the surfaces and luster. This is an incredible piece for the collector who enjoys premium coins with great eye appeal.
