These coins are pretty popular with collectors. While a proof 70 will run you closer to $2000, this is very close to being just as nice for a lot less. In 2019, San Francisco produced an Enhanced Reverse Proof silver eagle and the mintage was only 29,913 coins. That might seem relatively high until you consider how many people collect this series!
